How it all began!
If it weren't for Jason we would never had met these beautiful animals.
We had always kept beef cattle Limo's, Charolais, Devons Crosses of all discriptions, Limo bulls and eventualy a Blonde.
Keith went to market to get an idea of current prices for stores, there was also a sale for Simmy's herd reduction.
Imagine my surprise when he came home and told me he had bought a Simmental bull ! I thought he was joking, remember , this is a Limo and Blonde man.
I couldn't wait to see this amazing creature that had capture my husbands attention.
It was love at first sight! - There he stood in the pen huge head, huge eyes and humungous ears he was about 18 months old and daft as a brush. An arm around his neck with lots of ear scratching was his idea of heaven, I couldn't believe how quiet he was. nothing seemed to worry him a real cool dude.
It took another 3 years of badgering , amid comments of whats the point in buying anymore cattle they're just a bottomless pit, before Keith finaly said Ok we'll get Jason a couple of pedigree girlfriends, WOW I was delighted.
The great day dawned and we made the epic trip over the border, to Bristol sales, I know this sounds silly to the hardened breeder but I was like a kid in a sweet shop! I was so excited, image how I felt when we returned with six simmentals!
We were on the road to addiction!
